These include documented policies on:

Customer support

Health and Safety

Environmental care

Quality

Accident  and  incident reporting (RIDDOR)

Training

Recruitment

Equality

NESS accreditation also requires a risk assessment and method statement and confirmation that staff are all aware of the company’s defined policies.

Other items in the NESS accreditation process requires proof of public and employee liability insurance  and that there has been no Health and Safety enforcement against the supplier partner.

In addition, NESS assesses the Partners technology and method of operation.  Proof of capabilities is also underlined by  the Partner submitting two customer case studies and/or references.
